It’s no secret that I love to eat! For the past few months I’ve been taking several cooking classes and absolutely loving them! I feel like I’m learning so much and the best part is, I get to bring home a fully prepared meal at the end of every class. Woo Hoo! Hope you enjoyed the pics of what I made in my Asian cooking class this past week. California Rolls and Spicy Crab Rolls…Yum!!!
Bring the joy
Our church was recently blessed with a remarkable performance by the Watoto Children’s Choir. They have travelled internationally since 1994 as advocates for the estimated 50 million children in Africa, orphaned as a result of HIV/AIDS, war, poverty and disease. In their words, “their production of Oh What Love, presents the vitality of the new Africa. Its vibrance, urban sound and colour takes you on an emotional journey from utter despair to joyous celebration, as the children share their stories.” They are now touring in Canada and trust me, you don’t want to miss these kind, sweet, talented children give you a show you will never forget. Here’s a bit of the joy they bring with their Oh What Love performance, hope it brightens your day! -Photos courtesy of Rob Patterson.
