In da hood…

It’s been a bit warmer over the past couple days and we’ve enjoyed walking in the neighbourhood, playing in the snow (making snow angels & snow people), taking pictures and having fun. Β What have you been up to the last couple days?

  1. These pictures are beautiful! I’m in Florida so no snow for us. I hope you are staying warm!

  2. Pretty pictures!!! I just wish we were thawing instead of getting more snow. πŸ™ #SITSblogging

  3. Such beautiful images!! You have really captured the essence of winter as I remember it growing up. We moved West to California from New Jersey when I was 9, so that was pretty much it for snowy winters and snow days. But even today, the Cali winters just don’t really do it for me. So thanks for reminding me!! Happy Valentine’s Day!! xx #sitsblogging

    • Thanks Ayanna! I’ve been trying to appreciate the winter through the medium of photography but this has been such a long, cold winter and I’m craving some sun. Cali sounds amazing right about now. πŸ™‚

  4. Great pics. Had enough snow yet? Here in NY you cannot go anywhere without walking through an icy, slushy mess. i am ready for spring! Thanks for sharing.

  5. Such beautiful pictures – we almost never see snow!

  6. Great photos showing the pretty side of winter! We are getting clobbered with about a foot of snow as I type this. No so pretty when you get dumped on like that lol! I am looking forward to spring for sure!

    • Oh we got clobbered today too Kristi. After reading tweets from disgruntled parents encountering accidents while dropping off their kids at school this morning, I had to run outside and tell hubby that I was officially giving my 5 year old a snow day (the school board hasn’t had one yet this winter).

  7. At least we aren’t the only ones buried under all this snow. It will be amazing if I make it even through my neighborhood without at least one accident this year. There is so much snow, only 1 can can get down at a time. Couple that with moronic drivers, I was almost side swiped 3 times today alone. Geesh. While the snow sure is pretty to look at, I can’t wait for it to go, go, go!

  8. Beautiful photos!!

  9. We’re getting hammered in Nebraska right now. We actually haven’t gotten much up to this point. We need it. A lot of farms are here, and it was too dry. We don’t want food prices going through the roof.

  10. I like your photos so the big thaw begins heheh!

    Have a driptastic week πŸ˜‰
