Ryan Gosling Shout out to moms

Hi  moms,

I thought you would get a kick out of this photo!  I had a rough week taking care of two sick babies while hubby was away in Germany on business.  After alternating between both kids bedrooms several times each night when they’d cough themselves awake and couldn’t get back to sleep, I would sit in their beds cuddling them or pacing to and fro while  singing them lullabies.  The constantly interrupted sleep was the hardest thing I did last week (reminiscent of when we had newborns) but now that hubby is back and I’ve had a few good nights of sleep, I realize how much I value those intimate moments with each child, in the middle of the night.

Moms, our jobs are difficult, but the rewards are priceless.  Go forth, and squeeze your kids a little tighter, listen to them a little longer, let your gaze on them linger; soak them in at this moment and appreciate the wonderful blessing that comes with being a mom.  Have a great week girlfriends, you rock!

xo,

Char
