I love fall foods! There’s nothing like eating a yummy, warm bowl of soup on a cold, rainy day. What about biting into baked butternut squash slathered in maple syrup or brown sugar. Fall foods are fantastic, just check these out.

Thanks Linda! π
Oh my goodness…I love Autumn foods! All of these dishes look delicious and those cookies are calling my name! π
Those cookies are calling my name too! My tummy is saying ‘yes’ but my future abs are saying ‘no way’! π
Yummy! Oh my goodness when I can finally start eating and cooking when the pregnancy yuckies are over, I am so doing some of these. Just pinned it for the future.
Oh Jennifer, feel better soon. Look on the bright side, in a few months you’ll have a wonderful little person to hold in your arms and you can eat all the great things that you’re pinning now. If I could send you over a care package of really great food for your freezer when the baby’s born, you know I would. Hang in there hon! π
Mmm! I love Fall foods! That quino soup looks good. I’ve been seeing a lot of quinoa recipes, but have yet to try it.
I’ve tried quinoa in cold salads so far but I have yet to try it in soup. My friend actually just pinned a recipe on Pintrest for carrot zucchini quinoa bread but I have to say I think that might be taking the quinoa trend a bit far. π
Those look great, especially the cookies!
I completely agree Rosey! π
Those look so delicious. I love apple dumplings in fall too.
Oooooh, apple dumplings! I’m totally salivating like Homer Simpson as I envision them…D’oh! π
I can’t wait to try the acorn squash with apple & sausage stuffing. My favorite fall food is one I indulge in year round. It’s butternut squash and leek soup.
My husband loves the soup but he’s also a HUGE fan of pumpkin spice muffins.
I seriously heart leeks Allison! If you ever post the recipe for your butternut squash and leek soup please let me know. I would love to add it to my fall soup lineup!
I think you just added some new favorites to our list. My daughter went “Oooooooo,” when she saw the acorn squash.
That’s wonderful! There’s nothing better than when our kids are enthusiastic about food, is there! π
Those cookies look amazing!!! Thanks for linking up!
My mouth was watering when I saw the caramel oozing out! π
The squash boat looks quite interesting. I may have to try it.
It’s definitely a unique spin on fall squash isn’t it Wayne!
Wow – those DO look delicious! Gotta try some of them.
Let me know how they turn out when you do Claudia! π
wow..delicious delicious looking!!!
Thanks Annmarie! π
The Fall Food looks GOOD! Fall is rather a new season for me as the UK seasons consist of two phases; Summer when the rain is warm and winter rain when the rain is cold- both these phases include grey sky. In Canada there are 4 proper seasons so I am looking forward to cooking for each of them! Apple Cider Cookies are first on my list- thank you
I’ve been to England so I know what you mean! Elyse, you are really going to enjoy the fall foods this year. Get a crock pot for stews, soups and chilli. Oh, and you’ve got to slather maple syrup on every root vegetable you can think of! π Let me know how the apple cider cookies turn out.
