For the last five years hubby and I have been researching pre-fab homes. One day we hope to get a seasonal home, whether that is a house in the country of my birth Antigua or a cottage here in Ontario. The one thing we do know for sure, the sustainability of pre-fab homes is proving quite intriguing for us. Some of the advantages for us are: they are fast to put on the sites, sometimes the quality is better especially in winter months because people are working indoors. It can be economical because it’s made on a production line environment as opposed to on-site and some of the technology they use is quite sustainable. Here are a few examples of pre-fab home designs.
