Playground in Contrast

According to Russian psychologist Lev Vygotsky, “In play a child always behaves beyond his average age, above his daily behavior. In play it is as though he were a head taller than himself.”  So keep on dreaming, discovering and imagining my darlings and I will continue to provide opportunities for you to play, learn and grow.

  3. fun pictures!! and what an interesting concept about play….i am going to have to think about this…

    • I totally agree, it is a very interesting concept! When I first read it, I was ruminating on it steadily and trying to consider the implications of it. Which brought me to a interesting space, ‘I don’t really have any ultimate answers when it comes to parenting!’ Scary right! Anyway, that is why I decided to just continue to provide opportunities for the kids to play, learn and grow – hopefully the rest will take care of itself (I’m crossing my fingers – lol) 🙂

  4. How fun!! Thank so much for linking up 🙂
